Who is behind Lacrima's Kitchen?

 

My name is Lacrima Cosnean; I am a mom of three beautiful children, Mateo, Audrey and Lucia. They keep me very busy, and  they are also the biggest reason I do what I do every day, wake up with a big smile on my face and take on the days with great gratitude for all we have, our health & love for each other as a family and use my positive energy to inspire others.

How did you get into Health Coaching? 

Lacrima C: “Healthy Cooking was ingrained in me from an early age by my mom and my grandmother. Growing up in Romania and Germany, sustainability and healthy home cooking was a big deal for us. Growing up I learned how to prepare delicious and satisfying meals using nutritious ingredients and now I see this as a blessing and want to help others.

A wonderful by-product is that it keeps us slim and healthy and I should add to it that it also makes us happy!

In 2013 I decided to make this my mission to aspire others and share my love for cooking and traditional values like sharing a meal and conversation with family and friends. The Integrative Institute of Nutrition (NY) was a perfect choice for me to also receive further education in the Health and Wellness Industry.”

What are the benefits of working with You?

Lacrima C: "What people say most when they work with me is that they feel inspired to have a better life.

I feel that this is my life calling to inspire people to enjoy every moment of life and to pay it forward to their own children so that when it is their turn they can do the same.

But how can we do that if we don’t feel our best and we don’t have the necessary energy to do the things we want to do personally or professionally? I see so many people give up on their dreams or they don’t think they have the money or necessary resources to even dream! I feel a great accomplishment when my clients leave me with a smile on their face and a positive attitude towards their future."

Lacrima C: "Following benefits have been reported: skin rashes diminish and disappear, better sleep, liver, kidney, metabolism functions increase, join and muscle pain disappear, better concentration and more energy, dark circles are going away, fewer sugar cravings, losing unwanted weight,
OVERALL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING IMPROVED." "We now enjoy nourishing dinners as a family and have healthy meals prepped for the week. We hardly eat drive-through food anymore since we look forward to our healthy dinners at home".

What products or food are you using in your program?

Lacrima C: "I cook with ‘real food/whole foods,’ sometimes, it is hard to know these days what real food is. That is one of the subjects we learn while going through the program. I also try to find a balance between the best products available that are most nutritious and best in flavor (local and organic) but do keep my clients' budgets in mind and work with the individual to make the best possible choice available.

I am passionate about the whole process of discovering what works best for you and your family.  

You will receive Resources that make meal planning easy and where your home-cooked meals taste better than restaurant food and, most notably, are more nutritious and help you to be healthy."

Do you recommend supplements or other Products?

Lacrima C: "I use botanically based products that help me alleviate allergens and therefore aid in taking care of conditions like eczema since I've struggled with this all my life. When we want optimal health it is important to have complete wellness inside and out. An anti-inflammatory diet is the way to go.

We need to tailor what we put in our bodies and on our bodies each day to achieve a balance. I am not selling any particular products, but I am happy to share with you my resources I've learned over the years that work."

Why is your program 30 days long?

Lacrima C: "From what I found is that it takes time for us to learn and implement new things and for our bodies and minds to adjust to the changes. My plan is not a quick fix, but a lifestyle change. With the right tools, guidance and gentle accountability you can achieve those goals you’ve been thinking about for a while and you can sustain that for life. Some of my clients decide to continue coaching beyond the  30 days to feel fit in the kitchen program. Establishing new habits just takes time, but your body and mind will forever thank you for it.
